WHAT DOCUMENTS ARE NEEDED TO SIGN UP?

WHAT ARE PLAYER EVALUATIONS? (Spring Only)

A Player Evaluation is a method for measuring the skill of a player. This allows each manager to assess each player’s potential and make an informed decision as they assemble their team during the draft process (Junior Minors, Minors, Majors, and Juniors/Seniors only).

WHEN ARE EVALUATIONS? (Spring Only)

See our Calendar for Evaluation Dates
Spring 2022 Baseball Eval Dates
Spring 2022 Softball Eval Dates

DOES MY CHILD HAVE TO ATTEND EVALUATIONS? (Spring Only)

YES per Little League International Rules all players must attend evaluations if playing in any division above Tee Ball

WHAT IF MY CHILD CAN NOT ATTEND EVALUATIONS? (Spring Only)

There may be a late tryout based on Wait List sign Ups but don’t press your luck.
Players that do not participate in tryouts are restricted to which division they may play. 8 year olds will play in Farm. 9 and 10 and 11 year olds will play in Minors. 12 year olds will play in Majors.

CAN MY CHILD TRYOUT FOR A HIGHER DIVISION? (Spring Only)

Qualified players may tryout for a higher level but are not guaranteed of being drafted at that level.
A “qualified” player must be league age 10 for Majors; 8 for Minors, 6 for Junior Minors and 4 for Tee Ball / Farm.

WHY WAS MY CHILD NOT PLACED IN A HIGHER DIVISION? (Spring Only)

Each manager drafts his team from the list of eligible player candidates. The reason for the skills evaluation is for each manager to have a reasonable basis for making an informed choice as to which players to select. There is usually a large pool of talented players from which to choose.

CAN WE REQUEST TO PLAY ON A CERTAIN COACHES TEAM, OR BE ON THE SAME TEAM AS A FRIEND?

If your child plays in Tee Ball or Farm, you can request, however, it is only a request and we cannot guarantee them however we do our best!

WHAT IF I, AS A PARENT, WANT MY CHILD ON A SPECIFIC TEAM?

At the Minors and Majors level, no requests are taken. All players are drafted.  At all other levels we will do our best to accomodate requests if possible, but there is no gaurantee.

WHAT IS INCLUDED IN THE REGISTRATION?
  • Uniform: team jersey, socks, and hat
  • CCUSD facility fees
  • Field Improvements
  • Lights
  • New Baseball/Softballs/T-Balls
  • Opening Day Festivities

WHAT IF REGISTRATION IS CLOSED?

If you missed registration, there is a late registration process called a Wait List. Late registrations are accepted and added to a wait list. Late registrants are only added on an “as needed” basis. Please make every attempt to sign up during the designated registration period.

WHEN ARE GAMES SCHEDULED?

Practices for the Spring Season typically begin in February. The Spring Season typically kicks off in March and runs through late May. The Fall Ball season runs from late-September through mid-November.

DO WE PLAY GAMES ON SUNDAY?

Every attempt is made to not schedule any games on Sunday. Occasionally, games/make-up games will be scheduled for a Sunday with the approval of the two team managers. Many teams opt to have practices on Sundays, as most fields are available.

WHY CAN'T COACHES WARM UP PITCHERS?

Little League’s position is that adults are here to teach the children and as such should have children warm-up pitchers. Rosters are not limited to nine players and therefore should have additional players to warm-up a pitcher. This is a Little League International mandate for safety and liability for which CFSLL will strictly enforce.

WHAT IS THE REFUND POLICY?

Please see our refund policy Click Here to review.

WHY AM I ASKED TO CREATE SO MANY ACCOUNTS?

We know in todays world we are asked to create logins for everything and at CFLL we are asking user to create at least two accounts

  • Our sign up portal requires an account in Sports Connect which is partnered with Dick’s and Little League International.  This helps us to manage our league as per Little League International Requirements.
  • CFLL Portal requires an account and is used to provide information to Coaches, Umpires and Parents on League Events, Activities and Opportunities.

We know its a pain but are trying to provide a better experience moving forward!

WHAT IS THE ONLINE ACCOUNT SETUP WITH SPORTS CONNECT?

All families will be required to create an account on Sports Connect the first time logging into our system. Please add all family members, players and parents by choosing the add children or add adult options (alternate contact information such as phone numbers and emails can be added when another adult is added to the account).

After the account is created the registration system will be used to register your children for their age group. Through the registration system you will have access to all account information, including payments due, payments received, due dates, outstanding balances, etc.   Multiple players can be registered.  To do this after completing one registration click the continue shopping button to register another player.

CFLL accepts ALL Major Credit Cards Checks are not accepted.

Player registration is not considered complete until the player’s age and address are verified at one of the league Document Verification Events. Once teams are formed Coaches and League Messages will provide instructions on Documents Needed

DOES CFLL DO BACKGROUND CHEKS ON ALL VOLUNTEERS?

In order to protect the safety of our children we process all volunteers using a thorough background check (criminal and sex offender in all states).
